Paris is one of our Fav Cities. What's not to love. Well, we don't love the yellow shirts taking over the City so much. Anyway they don't take over until tomorrow, Its Friday today and we are feeling pretty good after the long haul from OZ.

Time for a sneaky peek into one of the Greatest Malls there is, Galleries Lafayette.

We have not before seen this beauty in all its Christmas glory. Its got plenty of bling all the rest of the year yet they have saved a little bit extra for December. It looks amazing.
Following a mini shop we headed off to Angelina of Paris. K had been wanting to go here for some time.

Angelina, established in 1903 is a Tea House of sorts with their own proprietary patisserie delights along with their famous hot chocolate. The queue seems constant and the staff smile through their gritted teeth, they look tired and its only mid afternoon. Their signature products are;

Angelina's essential African Hot Chocolate
The famous "African" hot chocolate is composed of three carefully selected kinds of African cocoa from Niger, Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. The secret recipe for this chocolate mix is specially put together for Angelina. The combination of these different types of chocolate from different lands lends Angelina's hot chocolate its exceptional taste and distinctive character.

The Mont-Blanc This iconic pastry combines meringue, light whipped cream and chestnut paste vermicelli to delight even the keenest of palates. The Mont-Blanc's unique, unrivaled recipe has made it Angelina's famous trademark pastry since 1903.
The dining room is elegant and very full. The service is somewhat slow considering how many people are still waiting outside in the cold. We could have been in and out quicker although it was nice to sit in some warmth while savouring the goodies.
To be honest we found the experience to be a tad overrated. #overrated
